Jewish Learning Fund (JLF) is dedicated to connecting the Jewish community with their Jewish identities through meaningful programming for students and adults alike.
JTeach.ca, the advocacy arm of JLF, provides schools and community groups with the skills necessary to advocate against hate and discrimination through quality resources and seminars. JTeach.ca is also dedicated to ensuring that the enduring lessons resulting from the atrocities of the Holocaust are never forgotten and never repeated.
JTeach Academy, our private high school, offers students in Ontario an opportunity to earn high school credits for courses taught through a Jewish lens. The smaller class sizes, OCT certified staff, and connection to Jewish identity, provide students with meaningful and impactful learning.
The JTeach Champions Program is a two-year program that provides students with the opportunity to learn valuable life skills that can help them to make a positive change in the world. Students will be provided with learning, resources, guidance and support in the design and implementation of constructive means of advocating against Jew hatred & anti-Zionism, and providing Holocaust education, with a focus on peer education initiatives. Students who are currently in grades 10 or 11 can apply to participate in the program beginning next academic year. Students entering grade 12 would serve as JTeach Champions in their grade 12 year and in their first year of college or university. All students will have the opportunity to continue as a JTeach Champion in college or university with support and additional learning provided.
Students who successfully complete the JTeach Champions Program will be eligible to join the Student Advisory Board and will have the opportunity to influence the overall program in meaningful, constructive ways.
